About the Study

Take Action

The U.S. Department of Education has provided funding for a study to examine how an integrated digital math curriculum can support teachers and improve student learning. SRI International, a nonprofit research organization, is conducting the study, in collaboration with Reasoning Mind and with 52 participating schools throughout the state of West Virginia.

Reasoning Mind is a digital math curriculum that is aligned to the Common Core State Standards and the Smarter Balanced assessment, and early studies have found it to be highly engaging for students and promising in terms of learning outcomes. The Reasoning Mind program includes the fully integrated digital math curriculum with adaptive instruction, customized reports, and real-time feedback on student progress—along with teacher professional development and ongoing support from a local implementation coordinator.
